This publication brings together scholars and practitioners from across the globe – from Europe and Asia to North and South America – to reflect on how subnational actors shape international cooperation. The contributions address the ways cities and regions influence global politics, form cross-border networks, and search for constructive approaches in times of rivalry and crisis.
The project has also been a remarkable collaboration across institutions and continents. Paradiplomacy Lab worked closely with colleagues from Paradiplomacia.org from Argentina. The graphic design, prepared by Oskar Gorzkiewicz from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, gives the issues a distinctive visual identity, making them stand out not only in content but also in form.
Importantly, this is the first time that TIP has been published entirely in English, opening the journal to a broader international readership and strengthening the dialogue within the global paradiplomacy research community.
