Paradiplomacy Lab at the 3rd Paradiplomatic Conference in Poznań

On May 27, members of the Paradiplomacy Lab participated in the 3rd Paradiplomatic Conference: International Identity of Regions, held at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

The team presented their ongoing research on various aspects of paradiplomacy:

  • Prof. Tomasz Kamiński shared results of a systematic literature review on paradiplomacy;
  • Dr. Joanna Ciesielska-Klikowska presented the issue of Germany’s subnational relations with China and the United States;
  • Dr. Marcin Frenkel discussed preliminary findings of a research project on machine analysis of the database of U.S. state-level international agreements;
  • Natalia Matiaszczyk presented the paradiplomatic dimension of South Korea–European Union relations.

In addition, Prof. Tomasz Kamiński and Dr. Joanna Ciesielska-Klikowska introduced their forthcoming publications, which are scheduled for release later this year.
